7 Ways To Feel Constantly Alive

Our lives are always marred by so many confusions, and so much angst that it's difficult to always find the silver lining or our own personal bliss all the time. But there are ways through which you can feel refreshed, day after day, as you overcome battle after battle! All you have to do is do these 7 things regularly, and you are good to go.

1. Read A Lot
Reading is woefully underrated. It is literally like being part of something wonderful and exclusive in a very direct sense. However don't just read your favourite authors, or your favourite genre. Read one, read all! The world is full of so much information, and it's all very easy to access. Plus reading also enhances your patience, and your understanding capacity.

2. Purge It All
Well, maybe not all, but absolutely purge things that you no longer require. And along with those broken shoes, dusty trinkets, maybe also reevaluate the people in your life. Should you purge a friend who is really not a friend? Should you cut-off someone who constantly berates you? Yes. Yes!

3. Take Up Exercise
Whether its Yoga, or aerobics, or just power-walking; it is very important to indulge in some kind of physical activity that opens up your mind, and refreshes you. Plus nothing better than exercise to get better health and remain fit!

4. Do Listen More
 Sure you have a trunk full of unsolicited advice, and sure you have tonnes of anecdotes for whenever someone needs a good story but there are times when you need to be quiet and listen. Listening will not only make you feel compassion but also help you avoid jumping to conclusions -and this is a great skill to have!

5. Love Without Inhibition
Whether you love a pet or your partner, love with abandon and love without restrictions. Don't play mind-games, don't hide feelings, be vocal, and most importantly be there. We acknowledge that you will hit one too many blips on the road, but there is no greater joy than loving someone, and that should be an easy task not something riddled with anguish!

6. Embrace Your Looks
This is so important! The glamour industry will have you believe that you are terribly average to look at, but trust us when we say this - nothing looks better than self-faith and confidence. If you are confident about your accomplishments, why not about your looks? No one has the right to make you feel anything less than what you deserve. Know this, and embrace it.

7. Pause The Noise
 Between your work-life, family-life, love-life, friends-life -you are bogged down by so many thoughts and responsibilities! The only way to continue moving forward is to quiet the noise around you. Take an hour for yourself daily, and that doesn't include your sleep time. If the daily running around is indeed too much, book yourself tickets to places you want to see, or movies you want to catch. But just do something for yourself that only includes you and you alone!
