Dubai is overall a glitzy glamorous paradise which is a haven for cultural experiences! Even though every nook and corner might entice you to visit and marvel, there are some stops you absolutely can't miss, especially if you want to feel like an insider and imbibe all that Dubai originally sets out to offer!

1. The Dubai Mall
Stretching across 1.1million sq/m, it is the world's largest shopping, entertainment, and leisure destination. With more than 1200 of the finest retail brands to shop the mall definitely is a heaven for those who consider themselves shopaholics. But shopping really is just one of the many facets this mall is known for. The building houses one of the largest suspended aquariums of the world and also the famous Olympic-sized Dubai Ice Rink and the list virtually just goes on. This is not just a mall but an experience in itself. You can't visit Dubai and not visit the great Dubai Mall.
  
2. Global Village
There are a lot of exciting things in Dubai happening all around the year and one thing is for sure. The Global Village is one such cultural extravaganza that has been taking place every year since 1997. For last 20 years, Global Village has provided world class cultural and family entertainment, along with a cosmopolitan and diverse shopping experience to its millions of visitors. Guests are entertained with exclusive live performances, spectacular new rides, delicious international cuisines and authentic crafts and merchandise from its worldwide pavilions. Each season the celebrations get bigger and better, with an expanded line-up of attractions, concerts and entertainment. 

3. JBR - The Walk
The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residences offers plenty of opportunity for those looking for stylish boutiques, al fresco dining or simply a leisurely promenade along the waterfront. The walk boasts of an array of fashion, home and handicraft shops and boutiques. There's also a small outdoor Covent Garden Market, where you can shop for some exquisite jewellery, have something to eat and be entertained by street performances. After an afternoon of shopping, grab an iced latte or sit down for a fine meal at one of Dubai's best restaurants. Thursday and Friday nights are one of the best here.
 

4. Sum of Us
After long hours of shopping and indulging yourself in various fun activities that the city has lined up for you, you might just want to kick back with a cup of coffee. As always Dubai doesn't disappoint. In the World Trade Centre area that attracts a mix of businessmen and families, located is the quaint The Sum of Us cafe; where the aroma of freshly baked bread and roasted coffee being served makes your cravings even stronger. Coffee connoisseurs will be spoilt for choice with a great selection of house-roasted coffees, brewed by talented baristas.
