In our daily busy lives we tend to neglect what we make for ourselves to eat! It is as important to switch up what we eat as is what drape around ourselves.

1. Cottage Cheese Toast

Bread slices, grated cottage cheese, pepper, Sriracha sauce

Place grated cottage cheese on the bread slices, add pepper for taste. Place in the oven for 10 minutes at 80 degrees. Once ready drizzle with Sriracha sauce.


2. Classic Kachumbar Salad

Chop up cucumber, red onions and tomatoes. Drop into a bowl and squeeze lemon juice. Add salt and red chilli to taste. Tasty and healthy. This salad is great for your skin too!


3. Poha

Instant Poha

Mustard Seeds

Refined oil

Chopped green chillies

Chopped onions

Peanuts (Roasted Preferred)

Boiled potatoes cut into cubes

Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon

Turmeric powder 1 tea spoon

Soak the instant poha in a bowl with room temperature water for 5 minutes.

In a pan add a little bit of refined oil, add chopped onions and cook till transparent. Add the boiled potatoes and stir in the mustard seeds till they finish popping add the peanuts. Add the poha and the green chillies. Stir the turmeric and red chilli powder. Gently stir for a few minutes.


4. Lemon rice

Boiled rice 1 bowl (Leftover from a previous meal)

Peanuts (Roasted preferred)

Refined oil

Mustard seeds


Lemon Juice

Curry leaves

Dried red chilli (Red chilli powder if not available)

In a pan add refined oil, peanuts, dried red chilli and curry leaves. Stir for a few seconds and then add mustard seeds and let them pop. Drop in the boiled rice and stir, add the turmeric powder and stir. Add lemon juice to taste add salt and serve.


5. Potato masala sandwich

8 slices of bread, any kind you prefer

2 cups of boiled and mashed potatoes

half tea spoon of red chilli powder

one cup of finely chopped onions

half tea spoon of turmeric powder

half tea spoon of roasted cumin, powdered

1 tea spoon of lime juice

3 table spoon of finely chopped coriander leaves

4 table spoon of butter, preferably salted, at room temperature

Salt to taste

Place the mashed potatoes in a bowl

Add all other ingredients (except bread and butter) to this and mix well

Taste test this mixture to make sure you are happy with the spice, sourness, and salt levels

Remove the crust from the bread slices, if you'd like

Take one slice and butter a side generously

Place about 2 table spoon (or more) of the potato masala on the buttered bread slice

Cover with another slice and butter the top of this slice

Heat up your griddle or tawa

Place the sandwich, buttered side down on the heated pan

Butter the other side now

Press down gently with a spatula and grill the sandwich until both sides are crispy and golden brown

Cut the sandwiches diagonally and serve warm with Sriracha chilli sauce (our favourite) or tomato ketchup



6. Chatpate Chane

Black chanas / Black Grams 1 cup(Boiled)

Amchoor 1.5 tea spoon

Chopped green chilli

Fresh sprigs of coriander chopped

Red onion 1

Chopped tomato half cup

Lemon Juice

Red chilli powder 1.5 tea spoon

Salt (To taste)

Chaat Masala

Stir all together in a bowl and its ready to eat !
